Privacy Policy

This policy explains what BNC Express Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. collects when you use https://bakesncakes.in, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be waved at you.

What we collect

• What you type at checkout: your WhatsApp number, delivery area and sub-area, full address, chosen time slot, and the items in your cart. We need these to bake and deliver the order.
• Your order history, kept against that WhatsApp number.
• Anonymous usage data: pages viewed, which products were opened or added to the cart, where the visit came from, and whether checkout succeeded or failed. This carries a random visit identifier, not your name.
• Technical data your browser sends anyway: device type, browser, screen size, approximate page speed, and JavaScript errors.

We do not collect card numbers, bank details, UPI IDs or any payment credentials on this website. There is no payment gateway here — payment is arranged directly with the outlet.

Why we collect it

• To prepare, confirm and deliver your order, and to contact you about it on WhatsApp or by phone.
• To keep records required of a food business under Indian law, including FSSAI and tax rules.
• To see which pages and products work and which are broken, so the site gets less annoying.
• To measure our advertising — whether a visit that came from an ad ended in an order.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing messages to a number you gave us for a single order unless you have asked us to.

Who else sees it

• WhatsApp (Meta) — your order summary travels to us as a WhatsApp message you send, under WhatsApp's own privacy terms.
• Google Firebase / Firestore (Google Cloud) — hosting and the database the order is stored in.
• Cloudinary — serves the product and cake photographs. It sees the request for an image, not your order.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads — anonymous usage and conversion measurement. Google may set cookies for this; your browser settings control them.
• Our delivery staff — your address, phone number and order, for the delivery itself.

How long we keep it

• Order records: retained while the business relationship lasts and for as long as tax and food-safety law requires.
• Anonymous site-usage events: automatically expire about 180 days after they are recorded.

Your choices

• You can ask us for a copy of the order data we hold against your WhatsApp number, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
• You can block or clear cookies in your browser. The site works without them; the cart is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us until you place an order.
• You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying on WhatsApp.

Children

This site is meant for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Security

Orders are stored in Google Firestore behind access rules that allow an order to be created but not read back by the public. Access to the staff panel is restricted to named accounts. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated policy.
